Hahira Third Thursday tonight
It's Hahira Third Thursday tonight from 5PM to 8PM: farmers market, food, hot dogs, hamburgers, music!
Third Thursday comes again on the 20th of September.
The following Saturday, the 22nd of September, it's Motor on Main from 2-6:30 PM and Fall Dance 6:30 to 10:30 PM.

Cancelled! Hahira Third Thursday 19 July 2012
Hahira Third Thursday has been cancelled for today! Hahira City Manager Jonathan Sumner tells me rain is coming, and they have cancelled the whole thing: movie, farmers' market, etc.

Hahira Third Thursday 5-8PM 19 July 2012
Tomorrow is Third Thursday in Hahira, the monthly outside get-together with food and fun. According to the signs they hang up on the streets, it starts at 5PM and ends at 8PM. According to the Hahira Happenings facebook page:
July 19th 3rd Thursday.. Movie night ( Mirror, Mirror) really cute and funny movie!!

Any framers or anyone who has veggies, fruits can set up in front of the red caboose on saturdays or third thursday.

Hahira hires Special Event Coordinator Sherri Burgess

City of Hahira Announces New Special Event Coordinator.
She says she started working for Hahira in February.

February Third Thursday Restructured
Hahira, GA – After a lengthy search, the City of Hahira recently hired a new Special Event Coordinator. Sherri Burgess will work with the Hahira City Council and Hahira business owners to enhance economic development opportunities in Downtown Hahira. She will coordinate special events and implement new ideas for the citizens of the City of Hahira.
Mrs. Burgess has experience with event planning and retail business management. A long-time resident of Las Vegas, Nevada, she and her husband, Paul, are newcomers to the Hahira area. Paul recently retired as Chief Master Sergeant with the United States Air Force. “We are tremendously pleased to have Sherri join our team,” stated Hahira Mayor Wayne Bullard. “Her talents will only enhance the quality service that citizens of Hahira and the surrounding area have come to know and love in our City.”
Many events are currently in planning for 2011 in Hahira. However, because of the transition, Third Thursday will not have the traditional activities that patrons have come to know and love.
