An executive session involving the fire chief and an extra attorney was the most unusual thing at the Work Session of the Lowndes County Commission on October 10, 2022.

  The county manager requested an executive session for attorney client priviledge regarding current or pending litigation. Will Elliott was the extra lawyer at the meeting. He and the fire chief went into the session with the commissioners.
