The two subdivision rezonings won’t cost anything, according to the Lowndes County Commission, even though on the same agenda there’s a resolution to adopt infrastructure for another subdivision that the county will then have to maintain, and a quitclain of a sewage lift station in another subdivision.

The only thing for which they do detail costs is aerial mapping of the county as requested by the Tax Assesssors’ office.

    Keep up the good work on acting as a watchdog for the county. FYI, the links to the last two meetings board packets are still not working. Those are the best part.

      Links should be fixed now. Thanks for mentioning that.

      And someday Lowndes County (and Valdosta) will put their board packets on their own websites, like many other cities and counties have been doing for years.
