At 22 minutes, that was probably the fastest Greater Lowndes Planning Commission meeting ever, on June 27, 2022.
The cases were so uncontentious that Chair Vicki Biles greeted the audience with “Welcome, lady and gentleman.” The lady was Gretchen Quarterman with the LAKE video camera. Lowndes County Commissioner Joyce Evans also arrived.
Nonetheless, there was one split vote.
Here are LAKE videos of each agenda item, with a few notes by Gretchen Quarterman, followed by a LAKE video playlist. 4. REZ-2022-13 Hunter Property, Madison Highway 0097- 032 7 Ac, E-A to C-C
Across the street from Clyatville Elementary School. Next to the take-out-only BBQ place. There are limits as to what can go there because of the school across the street.
There is a typo in the title. It is 7 acre parcel with 2 acres next to the BBQ place that are of particular interest to the owner.
Recommend approval: unanimous.
