One month ago, the entire Lowndes County Commission Regular Work Session took eight and a half minutes. Plus an Executive Session for Real Estate.

• 1. Call to Order 4. Minutes for Approval

• 5a. Appointment – Valdosta Lowndes Development Authority
  

  Video. Chairman Bill Slaughter mentioned that Teri Lupo does want to be reappointed, and she is currently the Chair of VLDA.

• 6a. 2020 Statewide Mutual Aid Agreement
  

  Video. EMA Director Ashley Tye said that this agreement had been in effect for at least twenty years, last re-approved 2016. He explained it’s neighbor helping neighbor, with no reimbursement either way, usually. But if there is a presidentially-approved disaster, to be eligible for funds from that, this agreement is required. Commissioners had no questions. This was the longest item at a minute and a half.

• 6 b. Quit Claim Deed for White Water Road Right of Way
  

  Video. County Engineer Mike Fletcher said back in the mid-80s the county tried to obain some right of way. Recently a problem with a signature from back then was discovered, and this item would clear that up.

• 7. Reports – request for executive session for real estate
