The previous morning they invented a consent agenda, such as Hahira and many others use all the time, but the Lowndes County Commission didn’t call it that. As expected, they appointed Kelley Saxon to DBHDDB. And they adjourned into an executive session.

5. Appointment Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities Board
Video. Chris Yarborough resigned from the Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities Board (DBHDD) and Kelley Saxon has applied. The previous morning, she spoke about her qualifications. Tuesday evening they appointed her “by acclamation” even though nobody made a nomination and there was no vote.

7. Bid for truck for Utilities Department
Video. The previous morning County Manager Joe Pritchard said they compared the only bid, from Langdale Ford for $85,100 for two trucks, to the state bid price, and this bid was lower. Commissioners unanimously approved the bid.
