You might think these solar panels covered with snow weren’t generating anything:
But they are. Not much, true, but they are generating:
There are 20 old panels on the other side of the roof, not visible in the first picture. Plus the 60 newer panels, they were generating 400 Watts, 0.4 kiloWatts (KW). That’s a far cry from their maximum capacity of 15 kW, but it’s more than all the lights in use in the buildings, plus probably at least one refrigerator, here at Okra Paradise Farms.
So if they generate covered in snow under a cloudy sky, just under a cloudy sky you can imagine they generate a lot more, and still more when it’s sunny.
