- AR-2014-15 — Deryl Seckinger (8887 Georgia Highway 135 North, Naylor) Variance to ULDC Chapter 9.01.04(D) as it pertains to re-establishing a nonconforming use (a single family dwelling)
9.01.04.D. A nonconforming use of a structure or open land or both in any combination that is discontinued or abandoned for twelve (12) consecutive months (except when government action impedes access to the premises) shall not be resumed. The structure or open land shall not thereafter be used except in conformity with the regulations of the zoning district in which it is located.Video. Carmella Braswell presented, saying applicant wanted to re-establish a residence in the same location.
This appears to be parcel 0250 050, which the Lowndes County Zoning Map – September 9, 2014 (PDF) seems to show in R-10.
Alvarado moved to approve request as presented citing criterion B. Seconded by Lowry. All aye.
