VDT, 11 April 2014, Sharper hosts town hall meeting,

State Rep. Dexter Sharper hosts a town hall meeting this Saturday to discuss the past General Assembly session and the upcoming Let Us Make Man event.

Let Us Make Man 2014 is a train-the-trainer, community-oriented event designed for everyone: parents, non-profit administrators, entrepreneurs, college students, churches, teachers and most importantly teenagers. A full day of workshops include: Law and Society; Mentoring; The Genius in Youth; Conflict Resolution; Making the Modern Family Work; College or Trade School; Conversation on Gangs; Understanding Mental Health. The LUMM event is scheduled for April 25-26, Valdosta State University campus.

The town hall meeting is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 with a 9 a.m. breakfast, 10 a.m. meeting, Crossing Jordan Baptist Church, 1401 Cypress St.

Dexter Sharper (D Valdosta) represents District 177 which is mostly the City of Valdosta.
