Parental involvement is not as high as it should be… and the first step will be to start in everyone’s home….(Oh, and I can hear Roy Taylor in the background, so I take back what I said about he already left.)

Supt. Smith reminded us that when CUEE was asked if they were active in Community Partners in Education (CPIE) they said they weren’t aware such a thing existed. Then he agreed that education starts at home and cooperation among home, school, and community was needed to have any hope in solving educational problems.
