Lowndes County doesn’t seem to have such a public list of open appointments, which is another thing that could be improved. At the moment the county has listed applications for Keep Lowndes Valdosta Beautiful (KLVB) and volunteers for Community Emergency Response Team (CERT).
Short version: if you live in Valdosta, look over that list and consider applying. If you don’t want to apply think of who you know who should. If you live in Lowndes County, maybe you can find out what county openings there are and let LAKE know so we can publish a list.
